Journal of Environmental Media 4.2 is out now! Special Issue

Intellect is pleased to announce that Journal of Environmental Media 4.2 is out now!

Special Issue: ‘Cinezoonosis’

The neologism ‘cinezoonosis’ names the inextricability of human–animal relations and their mediation through recorded sound and image. The authors included in this Special Issue consider zoonosis alongside cinema, asking how they mutually define and illuminate each other – historically, theoretically, aesthetically and politically.
